Error when running fs.py example with --dual and x86

Description

When running the fs.py example with the --dual option and x86 ISA, the simulation aborts:
fatal: Don't know how to connect these system together
The error message comes from the "makeDualRoot" function in "configs/common/FSConfig.py". It either expects a "realview" or a "tsunami" test system, but these systems only work with ARM if I understand correctly.
I've also tried to add an ethernet device manually but ran into different problems:

Another user provided a solution to the problem 5 years ago, but this solution does not work any more:

The problem when creating an ethernet device manually seems to be fixed now. I will create a new general issue for the --dual option.
